... group presentations. Enough said.. but no, I'll go on.
Today I had a group presentation in my Educational Psych class.. with two other girls. Mind you, this month has been the first time I have met them before.. But anyways, onward..
With giving us our groups the week before, we all kind of scurried to get shit done for today... However, when I say "we".. I just mean me. Yessum. The other two brilliant students I was paired with have not been to class in awhile.. One is back in Cleveland getting her tonsils out.. the other one spent her week in the hospital.. Sure, I shouldn't be upset about that.. since they couldn't really stop that. However, I have a reason to be upset that 15% of my grade for the course is being dependent on this group presentation.. and yet again, "group".. really just me.
I don't PAY a ridiculous amount of money for unreliable students to affect my grade.. I pay for myself to be completely responsible for my grade. Gosh darnit.. Uber pissed...
Although, my teacher is pretty much a badass and is letting us present this Monday... hopefully my group will stop dying by then.

If your group doesn't stop dying by then, you should inform your prof about what is going on. Surely he will understand...
I hate group work when it's unexpected. I know for my program, a lot of our grade is dependent on group work, but we know that going into it. Just to throw random students together, that's crap.
Alli - we're the do'ers, the ones who always get the shit together and pull the weight of the others. It sucks. Welcome to my world. ;-)
